Khyargas lake located 220 km from Ulaangom city. Lying at an altitude of 1028 meters above sea level, it is a salt lake, which is 75 km in length and 31 km in width.

Uvs lake is the largest lake in Mongolia, which is 84 km in length and 78 km in width.
