Khyargas lake located 220 km from Ulaangom city. Lying at an altitude of 1028 meters above sea level, it is a salt lake, which is 75 km in length and 31 km in width.
The one of the deepest lake in the Great Lakes Basin, the maximum depth is 80 meters. The way to the Khyargas lake is desert steppe landscape and there is Khar Termis spring near the lake.
